Burlington Skyhawks Basketball is the city of Burlington’s premier basketball organization. Our inaugural season with 15 teams competing across the province was a huge success. This season we’re set to soar to new heights.

The Skyhawks foundation is rep team opportunities for male and female athletes from the ages of 9 to 19 competing in Basketball Ontario sanctioned tournaments in communities across the province. Coached by a team of the best, most experienced and successful basketball coaches in the City of Burlington, the Skyhawks are focused on the fundamentals of individual and team skill development in a fun, rewarding environment that develops leaders on and off the court.

With plans to host 18 teams this season the Skyhawks will rank in the top 12 of Basketball Ontario’s largest rep clubs in the entire province! Rep team tryouts start September 11. Check our schedules. Bring your friends and see you on the court soon!

New for the 2009 season we partnered with Basketball Ontario to introduce The Skyhawks Steve Nash Development League. The Steve Nash D-League is a national youth basketball program designed to develop fundamental skills, sportsmanship and a love for the game of basketball. No prior playing experience is required. The only prerequisites are the desire to have fun and learn new skills! This launch year focused on 8 and 9 year-old boys and girls (2000 and 2001 birth years) and the program was completed successfully.
