Burlington Skyhawks Coaching Opportunities
Coaches play a very important role within the Burlington Skyhawks Basketball Club and the entire basketball community. They are teachers, mentors, role models, and friends who have an enormous impact on the development of our youth. Coaching provides the opportunity to teach teamwork, sportsmanship, responsibility and basketball skills while developing confidence and self-esteem in young athletes. Skyhawks coaches commit to creating a fun and rewarding environment to develop young athletes as leaders on and off the court.
Great coaching is fundamental to the success of any community sport.
Coaching is a demanding but remarkably rewarding way to mentor youth as leaders on and off the court and give back to the game and the community.

Looking to positively influence the life’s of Burlington’s next generation of basketball stars?
Consider coaching with the Burlington Skyhawks. There are two unique opportunities.
1. Skyhawks Steve Nash U10 Development League – with U10 Boys and Girls focused on fun, skill development. Some basketball playing and/or coaching experience is an asset.
2. Skyhawks Rep Teams – from U10 to U19 Boys and Girls to compete in province-wide tournaments and the Provincial Championships. Requires previous basketball coaching and/or senior level playing experience.
